Welcome To Dunholme Driving School
After passing my own driving test, I had a passion for driving. Not only for the necessity of business purposes, but also for pleasure, and recreational. After a number of years, I challenged my skills in driving by taking the Institute of Advanced Motorists driving test. After a few lessons to perfect my skills behind the wheel, I successfully passed, gaining my IAM certificate.
I was then inspired to further enhance my skills, and interest in driving. The natural route for me was to become a Department of Transport Approved Driving Instructor. After completing the three exams, that’s a theory , practical, and test of instructional ability, I became a fully qualified Driving Instructor in August 1994.
Becoming a Driving Instructor has brought me great job satisfaction. I have great pride in taking a complete novice, training them up to test standard, and seeing them independently mobile in their own vehicles, and benefiting from the life enhancing skills that driving brings.
During my driver training lessons, a large emphasis is on Safe Driving. Learning to drive is not just about passing the test, I like the pupil to think beyond the test, and to become a safe, responsible member of the motoring community.New Paragraph
